Tsampa* – roasted barley flour – is one of the staple foods of Tibetans. It is also becoming increasingly popular in the Czech Republic and replaces breakfast cereals, for example. You can find out how to eat it and how to process it here at a workshop on roasting tsampa on a fire (with tasting) on the Asian Trail in Velký Šenov. The Tibetan restaurant U Bílého Jaka will also prepare tsampa specialties for you.
