Tenzin Seldon, popularly known as TibChick, is a Tibetan Woman Rapper in Exile, whose work has gained huge attention on social media. Based in the Netherlands, born and raised in New Delhi, she likes to write songs in her free time. TibChick is known for bold lyrics, about fearless women. Her songs are motivational and inspiring especially for young women. She uses both Tibetan and English. Known songs are: „Fearless“, „Don’t Test Me“ or „Bhoepey Bhumo“.
Her significance goes beyond music: she represents a younger generation of Tibetans born or raised outside Tibet and uses rap as a way to talk about identity and the experience of exile.
